Please keep your presentation limited to 10 minutes. Chuck Crist is going to start off the evening with the "Arrow" antenna he constructed. =============== Meeting Minutes October 11th,2002 =============== - Bill Goodall called meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. - Introduction of members. - Wade gave his treasurer's report - We had a visiting guest who was introduced as John England - We talked about the Christmas dinner it will be at MCL in the Greenwood shopping center at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th of December 2002 this year. - We also got 3 members on the nominating committee for amateur of the year the members on this committee are as follows: John Lee, Don Hemenover, and Wes Murphy. - Bill announced about the election committee, which is Wes Murphy and Maria Chambers. - We have a new member Bob Marschel KB9TEA paid for both this year and next year. - Bill turned meeting over to Tom Chance 1) W9ICE group picnic will be Oct. 20th at Noblesville At Forest Park 2) Emergency communications for the tornado was discussed. - Norm AB9FC talked about what it cost for the power and light to pay employees and to replace poles and service for everyone. - Trevor Fulk talked about the upcoming event at IUPUI - Tom introduced Joe Pontek K8JP who is moving to Belize, he talked to us about contesting and DXing. Meeting was adjourned at 9:30 pm Reminding everyone the will be elections held at the November 8, 2002 and we would like to see everyone there and we still need someone to take over the Amachewer news letter.
